Peer Relationships Are a Direct Cause of the Adolescent Mental Health Crisis: Interpretable Machine Learning Analysis of 2 Large Cohort Studies

For peer problems, we changed parent-reported peer problems (as assessed in the SDQ with items like “The child has at least one good friend” or “The child is generally liked by other children”), the assessment of happiness with friendships, the feeling that “there is no one I feel close to,” and that “there is someone I trust whom I would turn to if I had problems” in the MC.

Effects of Peer- or Professional-Led Support in Enhancing Adherence to Wearable Monitoring Devices Among Community-Dwelling Older Adults: Systematic Review of Randomized Controlled Trials

However, to the best of our knowledge, there has been no systematic review evaluating the effects of these peer- or professional-led intervention programs on improving long-term adherence to WMDs among older adults or identifying the specific components in these programs that can lead to positive effects. Conducting such reviews could help researchers and policy makers design targeted strategies to promote the use of WMDs, ultimately leading to better health monitoring and improved health care outcomes.

What Adolescents Say in Text Messages to Motivate Peer Networks to Access Health Care and Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing: Qualitative Thematic Analysis

What Adolescents Say in Text Messages to Motivate Peer Networks to Access Health Care and Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing: Qualitative Thematic Analysis

A study of adolescents aged between 15 and 20 years described text messaging as convenient for health promotion because they are “always on their phones” [10] and a text-based peer education intervention in which youths could text sexual health questions to a peer health educator was found to be feasible and acceptable [8]. However, in each of these interventions, text messages were sent by clinic or research staff, and the messages themselves were standardized.

Informal and Formal Peer Teaching in the Medical School Ecosystem: Perspectives From a Student-Teacher Team

Informal and Formal Peer Teaching in the Medical School Ecosystem: Perspectives From a Student-Teacher Team

Many peer-to-peer teaching moments in medical education might similarly be thought to exist in a kind of subatomic plane, or at least in one that is not always visible to faculty members. From the perspectives of a medical student and lecturer, we set out the impressive range of peer-led teaching that occurs in informal settings.

Adjusting an Available Online Peer Support Platform in a Program to Supplement the Treatment of Perinatal Depression and Anxiety

They can be less stigmatizing and the use of peer support embedded with these interventions could help normalize the experience of perinatal depression and anxiety. Indeed, many women express interest in the use of Internet-based health care resources during the perinatal period [19]. Furthermore, Internet-based resources for perinatal depression and anxiety have demonstrated feasibility and efficacy [20-25].
